About the course
Empowering Leaders™ is a practical and evidence-based leadership program that helps leaders create psychologically safe, high-performing teams — while meeting their obligations under the new psychosocial safety legislation. Today’s workplaces are complex. Leaders face growing pressure to support their people, manage stress, prevent burnout, and respond to psychosocial hazards such as high workload, poor role clarity, and low support. This program provides a clear pathway forward — equipping leaders with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to build safer, stronger, and more connected teams. Grounded in wellbeing science and the BEACON Framework™, Empowering Leaders™ blends the latest research in positive psychology, neuroscience, and workplace wellbeing into practical, real-world learning. Participants will explore how to stay grounded under pressure, respond with compassion, and lead with clarity — creating a ripple effect of wellbeing across their teams and organisations. Through a mix of interactive eLearning, live online Leader Labs, and applied workplace practice, leaders learn to: Recognise and respond to psychosocial hazards early and effectively Model self-awareness, empathy, and accountability Strengthen team connection, trust, and communication Build environments where people feel safe, supported, and able to thrive
